Autoresponders can be called as auto helpers especially designed for marketing purposes. They not only track the email address of your visitor but also automatically answer your emails and subscriber lists. Given below are some fantastic ways in which you can use the autoresponders so as to gain the maximum amount of profit & customers.

Firstly, you should start your own e-zine or newsletter, which contains information & updates about your products or services. The newsletters should also contain links which may be of relevance to the product or of interest to the customer. You can then assign your autoresponder to send it to your subscriber or follow-up list. This helps you increase the reputation of your web portal. Also, you can start special newsletters for your affiliates, which contain tips & techniques to promote your product in a more effective way & hence allow them to increase their commission.

You should provide 360 degree reviews of your products or even about other products (like a movie or a software) on your website or in your newsletters & then assign them to your autoresponder. Also place reviews about your affiliate programs & sample links to the websites of your existing affiliates. You can also write (or buy) articles and post them to your website. You can also create a master list containing links & brief information about your articles & then promote it. Always remember to customize your autoreponder to set separate accounts for each article so that the visitors get ‘ONLY’ what they are looking for.

Increase your distribution. Customize your autoresponder to send rates of your products or services as well as the special schemes, which are prevailing currently. Also, you can include a full email course either for your affiliates or your visitors or both. The course should contain daily lessons on your services, the benefits & the quality. As for the affiliates, it can contain newer tools & guidelines for more effective marketing.

Try to make your website more interactive. You can probably add a contest & can use your autoresponder to send confirmations or the results. Also, you can provide shareware or evaluation versions of your product to the visitors. You can even provide trial memberships to your services. It is human tendency to have the full thing once anyone gets a part of it. You should also make your website easy to surf & also allow the visitors to download the pages to their computer & view them as per their leisure.

Try to create a library of your e-zines or newsletters so that the visitors can access any of them anytime. Create a Frequently asked Questions (FAQ) sheet instead of answering the queries when asked. Visitors always like getting quick answers & having the whole archive at hand. Build up autoresponder forms in which the visitor can type in his interests, references of his friends/ colleagues. This information can be useful for sending him relevant newsletters & also to notify him about the updates, discounts & other information in the future. Always remember that gathering repeat customers is more important than gathering a one-time customer.
