Here's a new thought: Advertise without annoying your prospects

Advertising is a must in any business. But unfortunately for consumers, it's often a necessary evil. They want to know about great services, products, and offers, but at the same time, they don't want to be bothered with stuff they don't want.

This is especially true on the Internet. Annoying flashing banners and bothersome pop-ups can actually be counterproductive, especially when it comes to your image. If you make a habit of bugging people with your advertising, you might regret it as time goes on.

This is why it is important to target your advertising to the kind of people who are likely to buy your products and services. It's important to get noticed, but if you can do it without bothering people who aren't interested, you'll save both money and trouble.

The best option is to find advertising methods that benefit both your company and your prospects. Handing out free trinkets is a great way to give something back to your customers, and also ensure that they keep you in mind for their next purchase (especially if your logo is printed on the item).

Another way to benefit customers while getting more business is to offer a special discount or freebie after the customer makes a certain number of purchases, or spends a certain amount. For example, offer a stamp card. Mark off every purchase until the customer has filled up the card. Once the card is full, offer one of the same item free. Come up with creative ways to use this method online.
